Get to Know Dr. Steve Folstad
Patients at VCA of Supply receive expert care from Dr. Steve Folstad. A graduate of the Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Folstad held an emergency medicine residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. He’s also a diplomate of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine and an affiliate of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society.
Prior to joining VCA, Dr. Folstad was an assistant professor at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine, where he served as Director of the Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program. He also was an attending physician at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte and Huntersville Medical Center.
He also has experience as a former principal of Carolina Vein Associates in Mooresville, where he honed his vein-treatment craft. He’s proud to continue to serve the residents of North Carolina with VCA.
