Meet Dr. Joseph J. Robles MD & FACS
Dr. Robles is board certified in general surgery and completed his residency at the Hospital of St. Raphael, New Haven, CT, now part of Yale New Haven Hospital. He obtained his doctorate from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, Farmington, CT, after graduating from Tufts University with a double major in Classical Latin and English Literature.
Dr. Robles previously practiced in various surgical capacities in systems across Connecticut and has held clinical teaching appointments at Quinnipiac University’s Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine and the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
Wide Array of Treatments for Varicose Veins
At VCA of Glastonbury, our physicians perform a large number of varicose vein treatments on an outpatient basis. With endovenous laser ablation (EVLA), Dr. Robles uses a laser to close off varicose veins without the need for surgery. The goal of the procedure is to reduce the appearance of problem veins and improve patients’ quality of life.
