Meet Dr. Mohsin Sheikh

Patients at VCA of Geneva receive treatment from Dr. Mohsin Sheikh. After earning his doctorate in medicine at Chicago Medical School, Dr. Sheikh went on to pursue his board certification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He boasts affiliations with the Society of Interventional Radiology, the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, and the American Medical Association.

Before starting his employment with VCA of Geneva, Dr. Sheikh worked in diagnostic and interventional radiology at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL, and at Methodist Hospitals in Gary and Merrillville, IN.

Specialized Varicose Vein Therapy

The Vein Clinics of America offers a broad array of outpatient therapies at its Geneva location. Lead surgeon Dr. Sheikh performs endovenous thermal ablation, which involves the use of a minimally invasive laser to close off varicose veins.
