Meet Dr. Christos G. Pappas
You’re in good hands with Dr. Pappas, who was named Top Doctor in Thoracic Surgery by Connecticut Magazine for four years straight.
Dr. Christos G. Pappas earned his doctorate from Tufts University School of Medicine, where he also was the Chief Resident of Surgery during his residency. He later continued his education with a two-year fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at George Washington University.
Before joining VCA, Dr. Pappas specialized in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery at his private practice. He also served as Head, Section General, Thoracic Surgery at Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, CT.
Minimally Invasive Treatments for Varicose Veins

Dr. Pappas is an advocate of minimally invasive procedures such as endovenous laser ablation (EVLA), which involves closing off varicose veins without surgery.
