Meet Dr. Chung Woo
VCA Fairfax’s Dr. Chung Woo has extensive experience treating varicose veins. After earning his medical degree from the University of Iowa, Dr. Chung went on to obtain his board certification in family medicine. Currently, he’s affiliated with the American Vein and Lymphatic Society and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Before accepting a position at Vein Clinics of America, Dr. Chung practiced at Kaiser Permanente and the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group. He was on staff at Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax, VA.
Non-surgical Treatments for Varicose Veins
At VCA of Fairfax, Dr. Chung performs a wide array of minimally invasive vein procedures on an outpatient basis. State-of-the-art treatment for removing veins without surgery, Endovenous laser ablation (EVLA), involves closing off varicose veins in order to reduce pain and improve the skin’s appearance.
