Vein therapy may be necessary for those afflicted with spider or varicose veins. Although these veins are no longer vital to the circulatory system, many people find them unsightly and seek a cosmetic solution in vein therapy.

Vein therapy can be addressed through surgical and non-surgical means. The most popular non-surgical treatment is sclerotherapy, which tends to be used to treat spider veins and smaller varicose veins, although new laser technology has shown proven results as well. Surgical vein therapy options all involve removal of the vein from the leg, and is usually pursued when dealing with the larger varicose veins.

Might Require Additional Vein Therapy

The vein specialist was very professional and friendly. I had hoped for better results but perhaps my veins require more therapy or different treatment. It was an expensive splurge for me but I had hoped for better results. I was in and out on schedule and things ran smoothly.
