My first visit was more wonderful than I could have expected. The doctor and I talked about how we continue to use our swollen legs over time and just get used to it, but your legs aren't supposed to be tired like mine all the time. Just the possibility that my legs could heal and get lighter and less painful is wonderful. Then, I found out my insurance covers the procedures, and it was like Christmas!

I had a brilliant consultation experience and I am very happy about the treatment options I was given.

The staff was very pleasant and professional.I did need more direction as to where to go when I entered the room because I walked to the right of the table and ended up hitting my ankle area of my foot on the bottom of a chair that had large metal covers over its wheels. It was extremely painful. The technician said that she wanted me to go on the other side where the stairs to the platform was at. I had to pause to rub the pain away then I approached the stairs and was able to go through the mapping process.About 3-4 hours later, I was driving and my right foot started hurting and felt like I had twisted my ankle. I could not step on it at all. I ended up having to go to Urgent Care where they did an x-ray on the foot and ankle area. I did not break anything but I had bruising, blood clotting and swelling. They wrapped it and gave me a prescription for the pain. The doctor said it should subside within a week. I kept it elevated and iced during the night and the pain subsided by the next morning. The next couple of days, I was able to walk on it again.

I feel like I was deceived. I had one round done, and then I waited because it was summertime. I feel like they should have been upfront and told me I would have to pay to be treated. I feel like they go through hoops to charge insurance. What I really wanted to have treated was not treated.

I used to have swelling due to poor circulation and they were numb most of the time. Having this procedure helped with all of my issues. My legs are no longer tired and heavy. I love that this is an outpatient surgery and could carry on immediately.

Yes, I would recommend the procedure. My legs have been feeling so good, no feeling of poor circulation, no tiredness, no pain anything that was happening before, only experience the tenderness after the treatment is done, may last for about a week. I am so glad and proud of myself I did not prolong this any longer. At first I was a bit nervous, but now there's nothing to it, just show up and let the Dr and his staff do their thing and you will be fine.

I am happy that my pain and discomfort has gone away, but not yet happy with the appearance. I had darker pigmentation that expected following the procedure. It has been 7 months and still my vein is dark and has not yet faded.

I had surgery on my legs 2 years ago and had to be under anesthesia and they only did the initial laser treatment. I prefer the comprehensive approach that Vein Clinics does and love that there is no anesthesia! It is important to me that Vein clinics does it in a step by step process starting with the bigger veins down to the small surface veins. Everyone has been wonderful! Dr. Buckwalter is very knowledgable and the girl that does the sonograms is great too.
