Meet Dr. Christopher Bulger
The lead physician at VCA’s Glastonbury location, Dr. Christopher Bulger earned his medical degree at Texas Tech Health Science Center. After graduating, he pursued board certification in Vascular Surgery and became a diplomate of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. He also held a vascular surgery fellowship at Rush University Medical Center.
A fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Vein and Lymphatic Society, the Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society, and the Society for Vascular Surgery, Dr. Bulger was previously employed as Medical Director for Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) Center for Wound Care. He was also Chief of Vascular Surgery for ECHN Hospitals in Manchester, CT.
Wide Array of Treatments for Varicose Veins
At VCA of Glastenbury, Dr. Bulger performs a large number of varicose vein treatments on an outpatient basis. With endovenous laser ablation (EVLA), Dr. Bulger uses a laser to close off varicose veins without the need for surgery.
